Neurodivergent Burnout Support
For autistic, ADHD and AuDHD adults who are exhausted from trying to keep up
Many neurodivergent adults spend years trying to fit into a world that wasn’t designed with their needs in mind.
They learn to mask, push through exhaustion, ignore their own needs and work twice as hard just to keep up with expectations.
Eventually, something has to give.
Neurodivergent burnout can affect every area of life, leaving you feeling physically, mentally and emotionally exhausted.
You may recognise some of these experiences:
- Constant exhaustion that rest doesn’t seem to fix
- Feeling overwhelmed by everyday tasks
- Increased sensitivity to noise, demands or social interaction
- Difficulty concentrating or staying organised
- Loss of motivation and confidence
- Emotional overwhelm or frequent shutdowns
- Feeling disconnected from yourself
- Struggling to meet expectations that once felt manageable
If this sounds familiar, you are not failing.
Your mind and body may be telling you that the way you’ve been coping is no longer sustainable.
A Neurodiversity-Affirming Approach
I have a particular interest in supporting autistic, ADHD and AuDHD adults, including those who have received a diagnosis later in life.
My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, which means I don’t see neurodivergence as something that needs to be fixed.
Instead, we work together to understand your unique needs, strengths and challenges while helping you recover from the effects of chronic stress, burnout and years of trying to fit into expectations that may not be right for you.
How I Can Help
Together we may focus on:
- Recovery from neurodivergent burnout
- Managing anxiety and overwhelm
- Building self-understanding and self-acceptance
- Reducing self-criticism and perfectionism
- Developing healthier boundaries
- Rebuilding confidence and resilience
- Creating a more sustainable way of living and working
